Welcome To The Better Way To Get Fit… |
|
| At Cr8 (Create) Health & Fitness, our passion is working with people who have taken the action to make a positive change in the way they look and feel, free to be active and enjoy the type of life a healthy body and mind offers.Rather than a “cookie cutter” approach to fitness, a dedicated personal trainer will assess your needs and actively work with you to develop and design a program that works for you - continually designing and refining in order to get you the results you want to achieve. |
|
| Cr8 Health & Fitness consists of the husband and wife team of Dean and Nancy Carlson, Certified Personal Fitness Trainers with the National Exercise and Sports Trainers Association. We work with clients of all age groups and fitness levels, teaching and coaching them to lose weight, eat healthier, get stronger and fitter, have more energy, and most of all - have fun with fitness. Our home studio is located in Epsom, NH, where we utilize our indoor facilities as well as 2.5 acres of beautiful countryside for our training programs. Just a 15 minute drive from Concord, clients in a 30 mile radius come to train in our unique setting. We offer one-on-one, small group training, and our popular “Get Fit NH” Boot Camps, all designed to help you achieve your fitness potential.
John Wooden once said “Do not let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do.” What is your “can do”? What can you do today to help you achieve your goals? |

The Fit New You: One Step at a Time Step One: ConsultationWhat are you trying to accomplish by working with a trainer? Have you worked with a trainer before? What successes have you had in the past These are just a few of the questions we will answer during your consultation. The aim of this session is to see if we are a good fit for working together, as well as answering any questions you may have about our training services.Step Two: Interview
This session is where we get down to work. The interview process includes gathering information on relevant medical and injury history, your sport and training history, nutrition, lifestyle, etc.
Step Three: Assessment

The interview and assessment steps are often done at the same appointment. Here we have the opportunity to evaluate the current physical state of your body in order to discover what type of training is best suited to you. For example testing the flexibility in your hamstrings can point us in the right direction as far as what exercises to use for training your legs. After the assessments are completed, we will go over what was discovered and offer feedback on the results. A goal session is next, where we will get down on paper what you want to achieve.
Step Four: Program Design
The next step is to combine the information from the interview, assessments and goal session and write your individualized program.
Step Five: Coaching and Teaching
Coaching covers a number of aspects of your custom program. First and foremost is teaching proper execution of each exercise in your training, as safety and injury prevention is the number one priority. The number of coaching sessions varies depending on the program.
Step Six: Training
There is no doubt that those who meet with me on a regular basis achieve their goals more safely and quickly. Refining exercise technique, accountability to goals, and encouragement are just a few of the reasons to meet on a weekly basis. The more we meet, the better results you will get!
Some of my clients prefer to train on their own, and simply want to take advantage of a professional who is able to design a program that works for them. No problem! The six steps are the same, we just meet on a less frequent basis, in general no less than once a month.
Now Is The Time To Start!
I look forward to hearing from you. Call (603) 344-2652 today, or you can also send an email.
